Calculator Accuracy
Our calculators use official HMRC rates and thresholds for the 2025/26 tax year and are designed to provide accurate estimates for the majority of UK employees. However, results are estimates only and may differ from your actual payslip for several reasons:
- Benefits in kind (company car, private medical insurance, gym membership)
- Non-standard tax codes (BR, D0, K codes, week 1/month 1 basis)
- Multiple employments or directorships
- Employer-specific pension arrangements not covered by our default options
- Marriage allowance transfers, Gift Aid donations, or EIS/VCT relief
- Scottish income tax rates (unless you use our Scotland-specific calculator)
- In-year tax code adjustments or emergency tax coding
